Unleash your inner edge! This outfit is more on the edgier side of my style. It is a lot of black for me! I have been getting into wearing black and white more often and just neutral colors in general. I was drawn to this top because I love the contrast and the black and white stripes have been a big trend lately. I thought the black and silver spiked necklace was a fun touch to the outfit and something that people wouldn't expect to add. I love surprises! Also, the top is a nice transition into fall piece.

First Day of College Outfit!

I had my first college class yesterday! It is really crazy and weird that I am a college student already! Nonetheless, I had a great first day. The first day of anything is slightly awkward and quiet, but soon I will know more people and make friends! Since it has been so hot lately (upwards of 90-100 degrees) I needed to wear something light and breathable. SOO...I went with the white flowy top with shorts! Still cute, but comfortable. Then, I went with black accents--the boots add edge and the necklace pulls everything together!

These products I use consistently every night before I go to bed. They are working really well for me and is helping to keep my skin clear, clean, and fresh! It is really important to establish a night routine that works well for you because you want to keep your skin looking good! So I hope you may try some of these products yourself if you are looking to try something new.

 

I first take off all of my face and eye makeup using the Seventh Generation wipes and Up & Up eye makeup remover with cotton balls. The eye makeup remover is more gentle to the sensitive eye area than using wipes. You don't want to cause pre-mature wrinkles!

 

Next, I will use the Clean & Clear face wash. Afterwards, I apply the OXY wipes on my t-zone where I typically break out (you just want to apply on your typical problem areas). Then I moisturize with the Bio Oil to help diminish my scarring and the Aveeno moisturizer. I don't use the Biore Pore Strips every night, but I will every week or two.

 

To finish off, I of course brush and floss my teeth but then apply my Carmex lip treatment to keep my lips soft and moisturized!

 

I can finally say I have an established night routine that works! I am still on the lookout for new products to try but I'm content with these for now!

Casual Day: Boots and Bun

Today was one of those relaxed, lay around the house kind of days. This outfit is a comfy outfit that is perfect for those days where you have errands, classes, or just hanging out! The shirt looks plain white in the photos, but it actually has neon pink textured dots throughout. It is a cute subtle touch. The bun makes the look more girly and is easy to do in the mornings.

Love Will Remember

I have been addicted to Selena Gomez's new song Love Will Remember. I has to be one of the best songs I have heard because it is so heartfelt, sincere, and genuine. The voicemail at the beginning is so great and I honestly think that Justin said that to her. 

I have been listening to this song on repeat and for your information it is on right now (hehe)! Anyways, I really wanted to style my faux leather skirt today with this army green button up and a spike necklace. This is an edgy outfit but since it is a skirt it makes it a bit more girly. And yes, I did mix brown and black together. I went there. :)
